Anthony Weiner's wife wants to reassure us. Don't trust her.

from latimes

Hate to say it, but you can’t trust a woman whose husband has been screwing around.
A year ago, Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin posed for People magazine, and talked about how they’d worked to repair their marriage after his first sexting scandal forced him to resign his congressional seat in 2011.
“Anthony has spent every day since trying to be the best dad and husband he can be,” Abedin told People, as the couple launched a carefully orchestrated lead-in to Weiner’s announcement that he would run for mayor of New York.
Right around the time he was photographed for People holding his young son, Jordan, as his loving wife perched next to them, Weiner had begun a new sextingrelationship, with a 22-year-old woman. The photo he sent her, published Tuesday by a raunchy gossip website called The Dirty, was even more graphic than the one that drove him from office.
It’s fascinating how Abedin, who must now be described as Weiner’s "long-suffering" wife even though they’ve been married for only three years, is retracing the life of her boss and mentor, Hillary Rodham Clinton, another woman whose assurances about her husband’s character ultimately came back to haunt her.
In a hastily called news conference Tuesday, Abedin stood nervously in front of a microphone and read a note of support for her husband, who stood at her side: “Our marriage, like many others, has had its ups and its downs. It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy to get to a place where I could forgive him,” Abedin said. “Anthony’s made some horrible mistakes, both before he resigned fromCongress and after, but I do very strongly believe that this is between us and our marriage. We discussed all of this before Anthony decided to run for mayor, so really what I want to say is I love him, I have forgiven him, I believe in him and as we have said from the beginning, we are moving forward.”
It might be persuasive to New York City voters that Abedin believes enough in her husband to finally take the microphone and address them directly. And how nice for Weiner that the mother of his 20-month-old son has weighed her choices and decided that staying in the marriage is herbest course.
I’m glad they’re “moving forward.”
But her assurances mean nothing about his future behavior. History shows that wives who vouch for their badly behaving political husbands do so at their own peril.
Take the Clintons.
In 1992, when the revelation of Bill Clinton’s affair with Gennifer Flowers threatened to sink his first presidential campaign, the Arkansas governor sat with his wife for a “60 Minutes” interview. “You know, I'm not sitting here, some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette,” Hillary Clinton said. “I'm sitting here because I love him, and I respect him, and I honor what he's been through and what we've been through together. And you know, if that's not enough for people, then heck, don't vote for him.”
Voters responded to that.
Six years later, her husband was impeached, a direct result of his inability to keep his libido in check. So, good for Hillary. I’m glad she stuck it out with her cad of a husband. But the ammunition he gave his political enemies allowed loony Republicans to paralyze the country for months.
And you can’t overlook the Schwarzeneggers.
In 2003, even before 11 women came forward to accuse Republican gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger of sexually groping them, lots of detractors had accused him of vile behavior toward women. To sway reluctant female voters, Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, sat down with Oprah Winfrey, where Shriver praised her husband.
Calling her husband "the exact opposite" of a woman hater, she said he was the "most gracious, supportive man I've ever met."
Two weeks later, The Times published its explosive stories about his groping. A couple of days later, Shriver gave a spirited defense of her husband during a speech to Republican women in Newport Beach.
''You can listen to all the negativity and you can listen to people who have never met Arnold, who met him for five seconds 30 years ago,” she said. “Or you can listen to me."
We all know how that turned out.

Weiner's New Confession Rocks N.Y. Mayor Race

Weiner's New Confession Rocks N.Y. Mayor Race

New Revelations of Politician's Online Habits Jolt Primary Contest

Anthony Weiner admits that at least some new, sexually charged online exchanges posted on a website Monday and attributed to him were, in fact, his. Pope Francis' push to bring the papacy to the streets is raising a host of challenges.
NEW YORK—Former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner jolted the New York City mayoral race on Tuesday, saying his habit of sending lewd pictures and messages to women he met online had continued well past his June 2011 resignation from Congress.
"I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out, and today they have," Mr. Weiner said at a news conference. "While some things that have been posted today are true and some are not, there is no question that what I did was wrong."
Mr. Weiner said he is no longer engaged in such behavior.
The revelation, prompted by postings Monday on a gossip website, raised questions about Mr. Weiner's ability to maintain the strong position he has held in recent polls of the crowded Democratic primary race. It also led some rivals to call for Mr. Weiner's resignation, though he vowed to stay in the race.
Former congressman Anthony Weiner addresses revelations of new explicit online messages and says he plans to stay in the race for New York City mayor.
Sexually charged messages sent after his resignation from Congress would be "very bad," said Bill Cunningham, a New York City political consultant who isn't working on a campaign. "That would indicate that he didn't learn his lesson," he said, speaking before Mr. Weiner told a room full of reporters in Manhattan that his online activity had continued after he resigned.
Mr. Weiner could be helped, though, by the appearance Tuesday of his wife, Huma Abedin, a longtime close aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Ms. Abedin was absent when Mr. Weiner resigned and has stayed largely out of the limelight.

Anthony Weiner speaks during a news conference in New York on July 23.
"Anthony's made some horrible mistakes, both before he resigned from Congress and after. But I do very strongly believe that it is between us and our marriage," she said, standing beside him. "I love him, I have forgiven him, I believe in him, and as he has said from the beginning, we are moving forward."
Mr. Weiner resigned from Congress after he admitted to sending lewd messages and photos to women online and then lying about it. He has tried to resurrect his political career this year with a bid for mayor. The most recent poll, conducted by the New York Times and Siena College, showed him in second place in the Democratic primary behind City Council Speaker Christine Quinn.
Another New York City consultant, Republican E. O'Brien Murray, said Ms. Abedin's presence would boost her husband. "Without her, his campaign should be dead," he said. "With her, he can get through this."

EXCLUSIVE: Anthony Weiner Hasn’t Changed Poor Huma Abedin, New Image Of His Penis

Anthony Weiner is up to his old tricks again. I’ve been in contact with a young female girl who wishes to remain Anonymous. She was lured by Anthony Weiner post scandal via Facebook. They had a relationship for 6 months and she believed they were in love. Anthony Weiner like a true sex predator promised Anonymous many things like a job at Politico and a condo in Chicago (a place they could meet up and have sex). The relationship consisted of Anthony Weiner and Anonymous sending sexually explicit pictures of each other and having sexual conversations via phone. The best part was Anthony used an alias this time thinking this would protect him. Anthony Weiner used the name ‘Carlos Danger’ when he would email pictures of his penis via Yahoo. Which makes me believe Anonymous wasn’t the only girl he was working.- nik
Anonymous: The part that’s most annoying is that I was 22 and in a bad place, but if anyone asked him he would say the same thing about himself, yet he’s an adult. This was a bad situation for me because I really admired him. Even post scandal, I thought he was misunderstood. Until I got to know him. I thought I loved him. Pretty pathetic.
Last August he even offered to help me get a condo in Chicago, without me asking. I’ll send screenshots of everything. I’m trusting you to keep my name out of it, because like I said, it was obviously a mistake. I was young and dumb. I just want people to really know he’s lying when he acts like he has changed.

I’m currently in talks with Anonymous. She has lawyered up in fear of Anthony Weiner, but she is willing to expose his sexual nature to TheDirty.com for the betterment of America. Story developing…- nik

Anthony Weiner admits to sending more lewd images, texts but vows to stay in mayor's race

from fox

This image, purportedly of former Rep. Anthony Weiner, was posted on the blog Dirty.com.
  • convo two.JPG
These chats were posted on TheDirty.com.
With his wife by his side, Anthony Weiner said Tuesday he's not dropping out of the New York City mayoral race despite new revelations that he sent additional lewd photos and text messages after he left Congress in disgrace for his prior online chats.
Weiner, who resigned his House seat in June 2011 after acknowledging having sexual conversations with at least a half-dozen women, told a hastily called news conference he would stay in the race despite the new onslaught of negative publicity.
“I’m sure many of my opponents would like me to drop out of the race but I’m not going to do it,” he said, adding, he hoped the people of New York were "willing to still continue to give me a second chance."
Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, told reporters that she loved her husband and had forgiven him.
“Our marriage has had its ups and its downs,” Abedin said standing next to Weiner. “It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy to get to the place where I can forgive Anthony. It was not an easy choice but I made the decision that it was worth staying in this marriage. It was a decision I made for me, my husband and our son.”
Weiner said that while acknowledging responsibility for his behavior, "in many ways, things are not that much different than they were yesterday. This behavior that I did was problematic to say the least, destructive to say the most, caused many stresses and stains in my marriage. But I am pleased and blessed that she has given me a second chance."
The newest allegations against Weiner come just weeks after launching his bid for New York City mayor.
The congressman fessed up to the naughty texts after sexually explicit photos and online chats between "Carlos Danger," allegedly the pseudonym for the city hall hopeful, and an unidentified woman surfaced on the blog, TheDirty.com.
The reports claim that that the conversation between the pol and an unidentified 23-year-old woman took place on the social media website Formspring in August 2012, a year after he resigned from his post in Congress after being caught the first time -- and nearly seven months after his first child with wife Abedin was born.
The woman claims on the blog that she first started talking online with Weiner in July 2012 and it became intense by August 2012, when he offered to find a Chicago condo where they could meet up.
She also alleges that they had phone sex and that they exchanged nude photos of each other. She claims she received photos from Weiner of his penis sent from a Yahoo email account under the “Carlos Danger” name. The purported image was later posted on TheDirty.com.
Weiner released a written statement on Tuesday afternoon, which he read again at the press conference, admitting to additional raunchy conversations.
"I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out, and today they have,” he said in the statement, referring to comments he made two months ago during the start of his mayoral campaign. “As I have said in the past, these things that I did were wrong and hurtful to my wife and caused us to go through challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation from Congress. While some things that have been posted today are true and some are not, there is no question that what I did was wrong. This behavior is behind me.”
Weiner did not elaborate on which of the new reports are true or false and whether or not it took place last summer. He went on to publicly apologize again to his wife.
“I've apologized to Huma and am grateful that she has worked through these issues with me and for her forgiveness. I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption that this has caused. As my wife and I have said, we are focused on moving forward.”
The online conversations between "Carlos" and his would-be paramour are quite explicit.
"I like [sic] to whisper in your ear while I make love to you. That ok," reads one of the tamer messages, apparently from Weiner.
"More than okay. Just the idea of it turns me on so much. I want to connect with you on every level," the woman responds.
"Why are you awake? What are you thinking about today? How do look [sic]," he asks in another conversation.
She responds: "I don't sleep a lot. Obviously I'm thinking about you. And I've been doing some painting today. Right now I have no [makeup] on. And I'm topless."
It's unclear how the lewd news will impact Weiner's campaign. Some New Yorkers have shown a willingness to forgive his past indiscretions since he announced his mayoral campaign via YouTube in May.
He has since shot to the lead in the polls, with a Quinnipiac University survey last week showing he held 25 percent of the vote.
Officials from Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign did not respond to requests for additional comment from FoxNews.com.
FoxNews.com's Perry Chiaramonte contributed to this report.

Fifty shades of hot teacher-on-middle-schooler sex is a book you can buy now

from dailycaller

Hey, America: You can now explore the national epidemic of teacher-student sex romps in hardcover form (or in a Kindle edition, or via unabridged audible audio).
Alissa Nutting’s debut novel, Tampa (Ecco/HarperCollins) involves a very randy protagonist, 26-year-old middle-school teacher Celeste Price. She seduces a 14-year-old male student in hedonistic, sociopathic, American Psycho style.
There’s sex at the student’s house. There’s sex in the teacher’s empty classroom. There’s sex everywhere.
“I went to high school with a woman who became rather notorious on the news for sleeping with one of her students. Her name was Debra LaFave,” Nutting explains in a Cosmopolitan interview. “It got me thinking, ‘Well, what are some novels that are about female sexual psychopaths? I really didn’t have many references for that, and I felt like that was a void in transgressive literature that I wanted to fill.’”
LaFave is among the more notorious real-life characters in the dozens of teacher-sex stories of recent vintage. The married, blue-eyed, platinum-blonde former Florida English teacher was convicted in 2005 of having sex with a 14-year-old middle-school boy. Police officers allegedly snapped graphic nude photos of Lafave in stirrups when she was in jail.
The Daily Caller doesn’t typically prefer middle-school teacher porn for summer jaunts to the beach, and likely won’t make an exception here. A preview available at Amazon as well as Boing Boing does look pretty scintillating, though, if you are into this kind of thing.
The story begins:
“I spent the night before my first day of teaching in an excited loop of hushed masturbation on my side of the mattress, never falling asleep. To bed I’d worn, in secret, a silk chemise and sheer panties, beneath my robe of course, so that my husband, Ford, wouldn’t pillage me. He always wants to ruin the landscape.”
A later paragraph reads:
“Thinking about the boys I was hours away from meeting, the fruity syrup of body wash I slathered across my breasts seemed to ferment to an intoxicating alcohol in the air. I smiled imagining them breathing the fragrance of the green apple shampoo I worked into my blond locks; despite the chemical bitters its scented foam belied, when one frothing swath of hair slid down against my face I had to force it into my mouth and suck. Soon I felt so dizzy that I had to kneel down on the shower floor…”

Police sex scandal: Married mom tells of sex with on-duty Florida officers

from mercurynews

Updated:   07/10/2013 09:58:25 AM PDT

LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating a widespread sex scandal involving nearly a dozen police officers in one Florida city after a civilian crime analyst detailed trysts with the men in police and fire stations, patrol cars, motelsand even in a parking lot after a memorial service for a slain officer.
Sue Eberle, 37, has told officials that she had consensual and sometimes coerced sex with the officers and a firefighter, and that she once was propositioned by a city worker in Lakeland. Eberle's accounts of the liaisons were largely corroborated by her sexual partners and others within the police department, and published in a graphic, 59-page report written in an incredulous tone by the county's top prosecutor. It said the department's problems investigating crimes might be caused by some high-ranking officers being more interested in having sex with Eberle than doing their jobs.
"The investigation revealed an extraordinary amount of sexual conduct that was committed both on-duty and off-duty," wrote Jerry Hill, Polk County's state attorney, in the report dated June 25. "We find the conduct of a number of sworn officers, including some officers of rank, to be at best a waste of taxpayer dollars. At worst their actions indicate a moralbankruptcy that exists amongst some individuals within the ranks at the Lakeland Police Department."
Eberle, who has retained an attorney, recounted for Hill how she had sex in police

cars, cemeteries and motels with different officers -- and in the parking lot outside a reception that followed the December 2011 funeral of Officer Arnulfo Crispin, who had been fatally shot on duty. She also said officers and some supervisors pressured her for sex, groped her while working and texted her photos of their genitalia.
"She was a target. She was weak. And they knew that they could take advantage of that, so they preyed upon her. They preyed upon her, and that's what's so sick about it," Eberle's attorney, David Linesch, said during a recent news conference.
Linesch's spokeswoman said Eberle is not granting interviews at this time. The Associated Press typically does not identify alleged victims of sexual assault. However, Eberle has gone public with her story, appearing alongside her attorney and husband at a recent news conference about the allegations.
Eberle, a married mother of two, is on paid administrative leave. Three city employees have resigned, and others -- such as the former assistant chief of the department -- have retired. Five other officers have been placed on either administrative leave or modified duty.
The scandal has stunned folks in Lakeland, a city of almost 100,000 people halfway between Tampa and Orlando.
"It's been devastating for the community," said Ellen Simms, who owns a framing shop in the city's historic downtown. "The actions of a few are tarnishing the reputation of a good department. It's heartbreaking."
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating, while Hill's office spent three months interviewing participants and witnesses. In his report addressed to Lakeland Police Chief Lisa Womack, Hill also drew parallels between the sex scandal and other "shortcomings" within the department, including recent problems with traffic stops, searches and investigations that have been detailed in The Ledger, Lakeland's newspaper.
"Had these members of your department been more focused on the important responsibilities of law enforcement, rather than pursuing sexual encounters with a civilian analyst, LPD might not be in the condition it is today," Hill wrote.
Womack wouldn't comment on the report or the scandal -- a Lakeland Police spokeswoman said all comments are being made from City Hall. Womack was an outsider who had worked in Illinois and Texas when she became the department's chief in March 2011.
"Our hearts ache for Mrs. Sue Eberle and her family, the citizens of Lakeland, and all the families and children who have been affected by this tragedy," Lakeland Mayor Gow Fields wrote in a statement.
Legislative leaders are furious and have asked Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd to help get the department on track.
"We find the State Attorney's report on the behavior of the LPD officials to be shocking, revolting and a clear cause for action," wrote Rep. Seth McKeel, R-Lakeland. "A culture which, at best lacks professionalism and at worst encourages the reckless behavior of LDP officials, is apparently pervasive and is an embarrassment to our community. This culture has unfortunately eroded the public's confidence in the Lakeland Police Department."
Eberle, through her attorney and in the state attorney's report, said she was unable to fend off the sexual advances because she has been a victim of sexual assault in the past. Initially, she didn't want to speak with investigators -- she balked at turning over her phone with text messages and photos, saying that it would hurt the officers' families -- but later decided to cooperate because she felt victimized and abandoned by the department.
Eberle also confided in a female officer friend, who initially doubted the stories until Eberle showed her some of the text messages and photos she had received from other officers. The friend told Hill that she thought Eberle's desire to please, inability to say no and sexual promiscuity made her a target.
While seven officers admitted to having sexual contact with Eberle, three other sergeants denied her claims and refused to take polygraph tests; Hill said he questioned the credibility of those sergeants.
The report also said that other employees knew about the encounters and didn't report it to higher-ups.
The state attorney said he couldn't prosecute the cases because of a lack of physical evidence and because so much time has passed since some of the sexual encounters. However, Fields said the officers and employees involved are under an internal investigation and will be "disciplined to the fullest extent" if found to have acted inappropriately.
Judd, the sheriff, wouldn't discuss the legislators' proposal for him to help the department. But in an email to the AP, he said he was willing to help Lakeland.
"My whole family is from Lakeland. I grew up here," Judd wrote. "I care about Lakeland, its reputation, and the quality of life we enjoy here. We cannot lose sight that there are many fine and hardworking officers at LPD who are outstanding public servants."
